Colors and Shades of Persian Cats
Flame Point Persian
The base color of flame point is white but a shade of red would highlight the extreme points in body of cat.
The Calico/Tri-color Persian
Calico cats (majority females) are extremely common in Persian breed. The three colors black, red and white contribute into the body and the shades of black and red colors could range from light to dark.
Solid White Persian
The solid colored cats have no hints of shades in their coat. The hair color of undercoat and outer coat is same throughout the body.
Solid Black/Blue Persian
The blue and black solid Persians also consist of single shade without any patterns.
Chinchilla is the most interesting color pattern in Persian cats. The silver or golden colors are spread over the bodies of cats where the darker shade is towards the roots of the hair and lights shade is towards the ends of the hair. Chinchilla cats are perfect example of shaded cats and look gorgeous.
Bi Color Persian
Bi-color Persian is combination of white with any other solid color. The bi-color cat could be paired with white and reds, blues or blacks.
Himalayan Cats are considered a different breed of cats and therefore we are not including these into a shade of Persian cats.
